Annual Show

Our Annual Show will be held on

February 25-27, 2011

at : The Newark Pavlion - Newark, CA

Every year around March, the Society hosts a Mineral and Gem show at The Newark Pavilion in Newark,
California. Many quality jewelry, mineral, gem, bead and fossil dealers display their items over the three day show
(Friday - Sunday). It is considered by many to be the best Society show in Northern California - if not the entire west coast
(Tucson excluded). Club members, private collectors and dealers fill the Pavilion with many great educational exhibits and demonstrations of the lapidary arts and geology.

For the 8th year running, we will have the largest display of fluorescent

minerals in California thanks to the Fluorescent Mineral Society. Our show was also the

first on the West Coast to have a special room dedicated to the education and sales of Fluorescent Minerals.

This is the largest display of these minerals on the West Coast!

The large display of these rocks is much better in person, but you can click here to view some fluorescent rocks and minerals.

If you would like to know how or why they glow click here to download a phamplet.
